The teaching style I want to use is more fundamental wherein a student can come to me with any questions or topics that they get stuck on at school or when working on their own. I also do topic by topic studies as well if a student has a weak point in a particular area that needs fixing. What helped me the most preparing for exams was definitely past papers, as well as studying a subject chapter by chapter while working on my weak points.
Did a range of voluntary work tutoring secondary school students during my A-level years. Most of them went on to achieve good grades in their end of year exams. I too initially had low grades, but due to a system that I stuck to I was able to achieve 4A*'s in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at GCSE and an A in Mathematics and 3 B's for Physics, Chemistry and Biology at A-level. It's this same system I stuck to that I want to pass on to students and push them to get the grades they are capable of as I did.
