About Shelly

I am an Elementary Teaxher with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught all grades K-8th. I have been teaching for over 25 years and enjoy teaching students to develop a love and passion for learning new things.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is to develop a fun but structured learning environment where children feel confident. I begin an independent lesson with small talk and gradually moving into the lesson. Allowing the student to share information about themselves often times helps them to feel more relaxed but more importantly, it builds confidence and respect.
