About Sydney
I completed my B.S. in Physics from Gordon College in 2021 with departmental honors. I love tutoring and have been doing it since high school. Whether my student is learning algebra or differential equations, I love watching people become more confident in their own learning abilities. I get them there through encouragement, creative learning strategies, and figuring out what special skills they bring to the table. Outside of working with students my hobbies include knitting, sewing, and hanging out with my black lab, Ali.

Many students develop an early distaste for math and physics. Whether they are bored, intimidated, or just plain frustrated, my patient and encouraging tutoring style has changed many students' relationships with math and science. I love when a previously discouraged student can feel proud of themselves and their progress! Since 2016, I have worked with students ages 12-21, including those with learning differences.
