I'm Dan, an eclectic, qualified woodwind quintupler with a circus background and a passion for teaching all ages from kids to adults and beyond. I have experience teaching at public and private schools, private lessons, in group settings and online. I want music to be fun, sustainable and rewarding. Let's make that happen.

Hello there music lover! I'm Dan and I love music in all the forms it comes in. From Video Game to Cinematic, Classical to Pop, Django to Jazz. I play and perform on a bunch of instruments and love teaching equally as much! What can I do for you? For all students, I: - Monitor Students' Attention Span - Keep a Fresh Repertoire - Listen to their needs and Music Tastes - Monitor Posture, Ergonomics, Practice Intervals, Comfort and Time Spent Playing - Promoting Proactive Practice - Play and Learn Music Sustainably to prevent burnout. - Communication with Parents If there's a part you want to be able to play on your instrument, I offer transposition, simplifying and even composition if you want to play something with a friend on any instrument. I have experience in helping students prepare for AMEB, Trinity and school exams and performances. I have over 2000 hours of experience and woodwind-specific teaching qualifications and currently teach online and at a school in Hobart.
