About Anthony
As a recent graduate I understand the many difficulties faced by engineering students. I discovered late in my career as an undergrad the importance of answering the question “Why am I doing this?” Understanding the why behind your efforts not only gives you an objective but also helps you understand how you’re supposed to get there. This gap was present in many of my courses and as such my goal in tutoring is to bridge this gap. One of the most difficult challenges in schooling learning how to learn, with my help I hope to not only help you learn but give you the ability to continue learning on your own.

I am a Graduate Assistant in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Georgia Southern University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Manufacturing Engineering and have experience tutoring my peers. Lessons will emphasize understanding a topic at a foundational level as well as working through written problems and examples. Foundational understanding is emphasized to equip the student with a skillset to understand and perform any problem, not simply recite practice problems. These lessons are available for any level from Basic Algebra (Middle School - High School) to Calculus (High School - College). I also tutor undergrad level engineering disciplines from Thermodynamics to Mechanics of Materials as well as CAD/CAM Softwares such as SolidWorks and Mastercam. I am also have a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and am available to tutor in Quality Control disciplines.
