Delivered CUCI-MOC (Cisco Unified Call Manager Integration of Microsoft Office Client) Cisco Client Framework functionality. Value of project was £1m approx.
Delivery of Pre-Production (virtual data centre test environment at Bradford ATE). Worked with technical designers to get designs produced. I then ordered hardware kit and organised installation at Bradford exchange. I also ordered high-speed Ether flow circuits to Peterborough data centre and Adastral Park to enable both LBG and BT to carry out testing remotely. I wrote a process document to enable LBG staff to raise changes and use it to carry out physical or remote testing. LBG tested the process and signed off to confirm their acceptance, which was a great success. Value of project: approx. £1m
Decommissioning of IBM’s Legacy TDM kit from 4 LBG Opportunity sites. For this project I was involved in working with my design team, suppliers Avaya, Verint, BT, Fujitsu, HP and Openreach to carry out site surveys. Using results from surveys it was possible to understand which kit type was where. An exercise took place to migrate traffic off the kit and then logical decommissioning took place. Each change was raised by me, approved by customer then work was carried out during out of office hours. The links were brought offline by doing soft ceases and then hard ceases. All kit was finally recovered from sites using change control. An agreed plan of work signed off from each supplier. This resulted in significant ongoing rental savings for LBG. Value of project: £1-2m
Tenacity User upgrades for partially sighted and disabled LBG users; Penetration testing Risk mitigations requiring regular calls and changes to be raised, approved before implementation.
