About Oscar
Hi, I’m Oscar — an Engineering Physics graduate who loves turning big, abstract ideas into clear, manageable steps. I’ve helped students from high school through early college build genuine intuition for physics while improving accuracy and speed on problem sets and exams. My style is patient, structured, and visual: we focus on why the physics works, then practice how to solve efficiently.

About the Lessons
I connect physics to the real world and build a strong mathematical backbone for success.
️ Core Physics: Mechanics, energy, momentum, rotations, fluids, thermodynamics, waves, electricity & magnetism, and optics.
Astrophysics: Gravity and orbital mechanics, stellar evolution, light and spectra, galaxies, and introductory cosmology.
Quantitative Physics: Units & dimensional analysis, error/uncertainty, modeling, calculus-based derivations, and problem-solving frameworks.
Science/STEM Skills: Scientific method, lab write-ups, data analysis, graphing, and experimental design.
How We Work: Concept-first explanations → guided examples → timed practice → review & strategy tweaks.
Exam Prep: AP Physics 1/2/C, honors/IB physics, college-intro courses, quizzes, midterms, and finals.
️ Personalized Plan: We set goals, track progress, and adjust pacing to keep gains steady and visible.

Great experience with Oscar. He is a great tutor and really helped me solidify the fundamentals of the electric circuits course I was taking. He taught me a few key tricks that made the rest of the course super easy.
I had a great first session with Oscar. He really understood what he needed to do for me to find success and was very accommodating with my requests. A great tutor all around. Would definitely recommend!!
