About Hema
Teaching is my passion and hobby, so I am lucky to have an education job. I am understanding, patient, and aware of how to talk to beginner students. During a lesson, I focus on you and your abilities.
Your learning needs will be met through goal-making, proper preparation, and teaching. I will incorporate conversation, reading, writing, and evaluation during a lesson. We will use fun and interesting digital material per personal needs/interests.

My teaching philosophy is to make the content I teach more relatable. In many cases, when a student can’t identify with the material, it’s harder for them to gather meaning. As a Maths teacher, my goal is to help students empathize with calculations, derivations, and concepts, especially when those things are different from their own life experiences.
As a student, I found stories more memorable when my teachers helped me draw parallels. As a student teacher, I like to make comparisons between older texts.
