As a Masters student, I am well versed in physics and mathematics, and usually prefer to teach GSCE level students but KS3 is fine as well. I believe in establishing the baseline of what the student already knows and then furthering its frontiers through simultaneously teaching and assessing the student, while ensuring that the scope of study for the course is thoroughly exhausted.
Of course, keeping the student interested in the subject is a task which would be given attention as well :).
After my first degree (in Mechatronics), I was a physics teacher for high schoolers from November 2017 until October 2018 when I decided to apply to further my studies in the UK. Though I love physics, I'd say maths is my first love and teaching it gives me a healthy dose of fulfilment.
