I like to approach my teaching in a "give me your ideas and background" kind of way! I want to know how much you know about a topic and how comfortable you are with each subject or module to dedicate the most time to those areas which you feel you need the most help on, I want you to feel 100% comfortable and confident in everything we do.
I base my teaching style on the student/s I am working with, my methods will change depending on how they learn and what they need. I like to be flexible with how I provide support and help with a topic, varying from recapping particular topics in a subject together to working through exam questions together while making study points of attention as we go.
I like to approach subjects with concentration on the basics and find ways to relate topics to regular life. With an understanding of fundamentals, I then aim to make things as simple as possible. I interlink topics across subjects and teach with practical examples.
I approach each student and topic with a different outlook, I use the different techniques my teachers taught me to find the way that suits them. I've never found just reading and repeating information as a efficient technique to remember, by making work fun and using real-world application to keep them interested so they remember easily.
Simplified techniques for solving mathematics and physics problems. Physics is all about understanding the concepts and then applying them. If you know the concepts well in both subjects you will obviously achieve the goals for the particular subjects. Various tricks and shortcuts will introduced to you so that you can solve and remember those concepts. Satisfaction is guaranteed.
"I like to find different responses to a same problem" [Richard Feynman]. As Feynman, I do like to make students realise that a general problem can be tackled in different ways. Summarizing my approach is : read, learn, and make the difference.
I base my teaching on the needs of the student. If there is a certain area of mathematics or physics where the student is not confident, I will focus my energy on this area and deliberate the main concepts to bring each area to life and ensure the student fully understands and is able to answer the problem.
I plan my modules in advance and try to introduce creative elements in teaching that keeps students engaged and enthusiastic throughout the lessons. I also make use of digital tools such as Poll everywhere for live Q&A with the whole class.
My teaching method is I prefer to include some interesting stories related to the complicated topic to make it more interesting!!
I currently tutor up to GCSE level. I find that the best way to learn (and hence teach) is to go through written questions on topics, and specifically past exam questions where applicable. I focus on breaking down each question into different sections that each need to be completed, and then undergoing this in a clear methodical way.
I have a mechanical engineering degree from Colorado School of Mines in America, and a Marine Engineering masters degree from Newcastle University. I have extensive experience and knowledge with maths and physics. Willing teacher to any willing pupil. Will work closely with pupil one on one to focus and improve upon problem areas and establish a confident understanding of various topics.
My main concern and the way I like to teach is by putting the content into the real world by practically being able to see it. Thus, improving the understanding of the content.
I like to apporach teaching very practically with real world examples so that students can understand it very easily without much confusion .
I believe first it is important to understand the student mentality and develop a good relation with the student. I prefer the discuss the tropic from the bottom to understand the basic of the tropic and than jump to the main tropic.
I am a physics with astrophysics student at Northumbria University currently undergoing my integrated masters. Born and raised in Spain, I am trilingual from birth in English, Spanish and Catalan. Very passionate about learning and playing basketball. Would love to be able to transfer my knowledge to other people.
My method is simple. First of all, I take my time to understand the student's strength and weakness and then take it from there. This enables me to know the best approach applicable as different tutees have unique capabilities, but in the end success is a common factor they all share.
My teaching is largely problem and solution. I help work through problems whilst giving extra knowledge around the subject along the way.
I have a flexible teaching style on a student by student basis. I use a combination of textbook exercises, real life example scenarios, games and testing to help students. I have a friendly an approachable tutoring manor aiming to help my student reach there own personal goal.
I just go with the flow and try my best to explain and make others understand by any means.
My teaching method is first, I try to examine the student's viability and level of knowledge on the subject and determine the style of approach that I can handle with the student.
I'm Harriet, a science teacher with over fifteen years experience educating a wide range of students from gifted and talented to students with special educational needs. My teaching style is very calm and I am prepared to work hard to ensure that any areas that you find difficult will be overcome by a variety of approaches.
As a mathematics student from Newcastle University I know that providing new methods and correcting mistakes is only the first part, once you are confident you know the material it is essential to practice! problem sheets, mock tests and revision sheets will be provided to help you over come any exam pressures to get the highest grade
I study Biology, Physics and Chemistry at A level as well as taking an Extended Project Qualification and am offering to teach all three at GCSE and AS level, along with GCSE English Literature and Language. I believe that my experience teaching both young children and teenagers has allowed me to adapt different styles of teaching depending on how the tutee best responds.
As a Masters student, I am well versed in physics and mathematics, and usually prefer to teach GSCE level students but KS3 is fine as well. I believe in establishing the baseline of what the student already knows and then furthering its frontiers through simultaneously teaching and assessing the student, while ensuring that the scope of study for the course is thoroughly exhausted.
My teaching method is based on inclusive and reflective teaching practice. I try to embed student centred learning activities in lessons to help promote critical learning to fascsilitate assessments.
As a passionate tutor, I have experience working with preschool and kindergarten-age students as well as Secondary and GCSE students. I have also tutored middle school students in reading, as well as college and high school students. Through these tutoring experience, I have learned how to best teach each age group.

Iam very passionate about sharing knowledge and specializes in the subjects of mathematics and science . i am good in badminton and football as well and during free time i enjoy travelling ,scuba diving.
I am a qualified Science teacher and chemistry specialist. I have taught chemistry, biology, physics and maths at GCSE and Chemistry and BTEC science at A level. I will tutor secondary students, GCSE, A level and Undergraduate students. I will focus a lot around applying knowledge and lots of questions, to get you to come to answers with hints along the way.
I prefer explaining things very slowly and believe in deep understanding rather than memorising. I believe every mathematical problem should be understood first before undertaking any action. also I think its a good idea to make this subject fun by allowing the student to taste the joy of solving a problem before giving him something impossible to solve.
My name is Jamie and I am passionate about science and maths - and think that everyone should share this :) I have a background in earth science and in my day job I write and teach curriculum-linked science and mathematics workshops in a science centre, as well as delivering science shows and workshops to the general public.
