Meg gave me regular support with my Latin over the course of the last year. For my masters', I took up Beginner's Latin, but needed extra tuition from January 2018 because my dissertation, which was a close analysis of a manuscript held in the University's Special Collections, required me to produce a translation of the Latin text. Meg was a patient tutor and her command of Latin meant she was always extremely confident and supportive. She planned effective lessons that focused on what I was weakest on, supplementing her teaching with a variety of clever examples, meaning I felt my knowledge of Latin accelerated. We met regularly and Meg was very reliable, she never cancelled or rearranged a session.
