About Tim
I was a professional international actor and theater director for 17 years in London, Edinburgh and NZ, prior to becoming an educator. With a BA Hons Degree and Post-Graduate in Secondary Education, with Literature as a preferred subject area, my aim is to prepare your child for a successful academic journey into VCE.

I use an 'I do, We do, You do', approach to learning, catering for the individual student through differentiated and paced lessons.
The lesson will always start with the discovery of your academic strengths, and areas that require focus. I will ask for a submission of your writing to ascertain your level, and I will offer feedback as well as feedforward.
Each lesson will have an explicit focus, depending on areas that require improvement. The end goal we will determine together. Whether that is sitting an assessment, writing for Select Entry, completing a persuasive piece, or simply working on S.M.A.R.T. goal setting and improving your reading and writing skillset.
I will help your child prepare for Select Entry and VHAP, if that is the preferred pathway.
Lessons will take place over 1 or 2 hours, depending on your personal preference.
Year 7 + students only please.
