About Paschal

Hello, and welcome to my profile!

I am an experienced English and Literature teacher with over eight years of experience working with secondary-school students. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literary Studies, a 120-hour TEFL certificate, and extensive classroom experience teaching students with different abilities and learning needs.

My goal is to make every lesson clear, engaging and useful. I create a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions, express their ideas and develop confidence in using English. Whether you want to improve your grammar, speaking, reading, writing or literary analysis, I will tailor lessons to your individual goals and level.

I work particularly well with students aged 10 and above, including secondary-school students and adult learners. I am patient, organised and committed to helping every student make steady progress.

If you are looking for an experienced teacher who will take your learning seriously while making lessons enjoyable, I would be delighted to work with you.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, practical and focused on building both confidence and measurable improvement. I begin by identifying each student’s current level, learning needs and goals, then adapt my lessons accordingly. I use clear explanations, guided practice, questioning, discussion, reading activities, writing exercises and regular feedback to help students understand and apply what they learn rather than simply memorising information.

A typical lesson lasts 50–60 minutes, although I can adapt the length according to the student’s age, level and objectives. I aim to create an encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literary Studies and a 120-hour TEFL certificate, and I have over eight years of experience teaching English to secondary school students. I have taught English Language and Literature, including grammar, comprehension, composition, poetry, prose and drama, while also preparing students for examinations.

My lessons are suitable for secondary-school students aged approximately 10 and above, as well as older learners who want to improve their English, reading, writing, grammar, communication or literary skills.
