About Caspar
Having been admitted into a prestigious institution through the scholarship route, I am well-versed in the process, and can offer assistance targeted to the exam, as well as improving the student’s skills, confidence, and writing style.
I am very academically proficient overall, and particularly adept at English, routinely scoring full marks
in set tasks. In my most recent exams, I scored in the 98th percentile of my year, with a 97% mark.
I have a deep love of learning, and find helping others and sharing my knowledge a deeply fulfilling endeavour. This leads me to frequently assist those within my year, and occasionally younger years, with exam advice, and homework. This desire to help is furthered by my belief that by teaching, I deepen my own understanding.
I believe this combination of experience with the examination process, academic ability, and skill-based teaching aimed at top, rather than mediocre, performance, renders me a highly effective tutor.

I am offering one on one tutoring aimed at improving performance in English Comprehension and Creative writing tasks for entrance exams such as CE.
My sessions begin with a brief exploration of the students weaknesses in English, so as to target specific areas and maximise improvement. Following that, they will consist of highly personalised sessions focused on either improving the structure of their work, helping them develop a sophisticated, unique style, or teaching then techniques for deeper analysis of a set text. For creative writing, lessons will outline the ideal structure for different tasks, and encourage more interesting, unique writing, as well as developing fluid, sophisticated syntax.
