About Cathy
Outside of teaching, I love travelling, spending time outdoors and keeping active through sports such as tennis, skiing and surfing. I've visited over 30 countries and enjoy meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. I'm currently exploring Japan when I'm not at work, and I'm enjoying the amazing nature that this country has to offer!

Hi, I'm Cathy!
I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Exeter and am a fully qualified English teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE. I've taught English for several years in secondary schools and now teach at university level in Tokyo, helping students build confidence and achieve excellent results.
Despite being 10 years into my teaching journey, I still remember how daunting exams can feel. Alongside subject knowledge, I enjoy helping students develop effective revision techniques, exam strategies and the confidence they need to succeed.
