About Fadhel
I have experience teaching English Literature and Language both in schools and privately. I have primarily worked with secondary school students aged 11-16 preparing them for GCSE exams. I am most familiar with the AQA English syllabus but also have experience teaching Edexcel. I have a deep and expansive knowledge of various set texts including Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, An Inspector Calls, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, A Christmas Carol and the AQA Poetry Anthology, all of which I have taught for years. I enjoy creating a rapport with students, allowing them to feel comfortable and free to share their thoughts and interpretations on texts. I like to encourage a collaborative atmosphere during lessons, in which the student feels we are working together - rather than being judged or scrutinised by a teacher. I have a real passion for English which I hope I am able to share with my students.
