About Jodie
I have recently graduated from the University of York with a first class degree in English and Related Literature. When I was in sixth form I tutored two students (a year 4 and a year 6) alongside my studies, and my year 6 succeeded in getting into her chosen secondary school. I can help with a wide range of things, from reading and comprehension skills to structuring sixth form level essays and coursework.

My teaching method is very flexible depending on the age and needs of the individual student. I like to have a discussion with the pupil and guardian from the outset about the specific areas that they would like to focus on as well as their preferred approach. Some of these approaches include tackling homework together, providing work sheets, going through exemplar work together, comprehensive explanations of tricky areas or a combination of different techniques.
