About Ellie
I graduated from drama school with my BA in acting. Before moving to the UK I was studying creative writing at the University of Iowa. I have had pieces I've written performed professionally in America and in London. In my free time I love to read novels, plays, and even sometimes poetry. I hope to instil a similar passion for storytelling and understanding into my students.

Let's chat about what you need help with! I love English, reading, and writing: if you need help with anything in those areas; let's figure it out together. I believe you don't fully understand a subject until you can explain it to a child. I want the people I tutor to be confident in their understanding of literature to be able to explain it to me like I have no idea what they are talking about. My aim is for the student to hopefully grow to enjoy reading and writing, and if they can't enjoy it, at least be able to be confident in it.
