I like to explain the fundamental concepts first, as it goes a long way to connect the dots between theory and application. Then it proceeds with going into examples of various difficulties and then I will provide a few questions for the student to practice along with me.
I have always liked to help out people and especially at high school I used to mentor and teach students in the lower grades with their math.
I am a second year undergraduate chemical engineering student but I have taken advanced mathematics courses previously during high school and have progressed through with extremely high grades.
