About Emma
I am currently a young persons support worker, providing coaching and support to those aged between 16-21 facing homelessness. I also have experience working in the mental health sector, as well as basic level counselling skills.
I have a passion for helping people and take on an empathic and patient approach to tutoring. As I am dyslexic I can fully appreciate the difficulties with rigid classroom teaching and can help to find new ways to engage with the subject.

I have a 2:1 MSc in Psychology, as well as an undergraduate in Film and Television Studies. I have also studied theatre, history, philosophy and media. I am able to give tutoring in all areas as well as general essay writing and English comprehension.
I have experience working with a range of ages as well as education level, however I predominantly work with those ages 10-15. Sessions are usually one hour, however I am happy to work in blocks of two.
