About Samantha
Hi! I'm Samantha, a dedicated educator with over 10 years of teaching experience working with students from first grade through high school. My passion is helping students build confidence in their abilities by creating a supportive, encouraging environment where learning feels achievable and even enjoyable.
As a high school mathematics teacher, I've taught Algebra, Geometry, and GED Math, helping students of all skill levels reach their goals—including achieving a 100% GED Math pass rate multiple times. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right guidance, patience, and approach.
My teaching style is student-centered, meaning I adapt my instruction to fit each learner's unique needs and pace. I strive to make challenging concepts easier to understand by breaking them into manageable steps, encouraging questions, and celebrating progress along the way. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for a test, or gaining confidence, my goal is to make math less intimidating and more rewarding.
I look forward to helping students strengthen their skills, develop confidence, and discover that they are capable of far more than they may believe.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students ranging from elementary through high school in a variety of classroom settings. My experience as both a classroom teacher and teaching assistant has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I enjoy helping students discover that they are capable of succeeding in math, even when they begin with little confidence.
