About Maximilian
I am a student of philosophy and economics. I already gained experience as a tutor during my high school years. During my studies, I led a philosophical discussion for interested adults in a nursing home - this activity was also educationally instructive. I do not understand the lessons as tuition in the narrower sense. Rather, it is an offer to interested students to further develop their conceptual tools. This is done through a joint, scientifically informed treatment of the major questions of philosophy.

I usually use accessible excerpts from the history of philosophy. At the beginning, I usually stay close to the text to work out the central argument. Only then is it 'philosophized': in dialogue, the logical consistency and plausibility of the arguments are examined. When selecting the texts, I also focus on the interests of the participants: Possible topics include metaphysics, socially critical thinking or classic 'stations' in the history of philosophy. My teaching method requires a willingness to think independently, which experience has shown to depend on the personal interests of the participants. The only requirement for my teaching is therefore an honest curiosity about philosophical thinking, nothing more and nothing less.
