About Hiba
I studied English Literature and Drama at A-Level, and whilst studying, I thoroughly enjoyed teaching and aiding other students in younger years and the same year regarding English; to witness students’ minds opening and supporting them to create exceptional pieces of work is simply remarkable to me and I love exploring and analysing texts of Literature with students. I am currently taking a gap year before I will start university in the subsequent academic year to study a joint honours in English Literature and Drama, and within this gap year, I want to continue my teaching skills to students who require my support and also to explore and analyse texts concomitantly with you to examine deeper the contextual, historical, and social meanings within texts. I’ve also always been highly interested in creative writing and to be able to aid and support students with their creative writing pieces was and is extraordinary; I find it remarkable how so many different minds can produce so many different momentous pieces of art

I have taught and aided students in the past who have required support with creative writing; I will aid you in descriptive and short story writing by allowing our imaginations to coalesce together and aiding you in how to write an enticing and compelling piece. I have predominantly also taught Literature to students up to and at GCSE level, and aided a couple of students at A-Level, and I will aid you in any difficulties you undergo, whether that be writing articulately, concise analysis, writer’s intention or any other forms of complexity that you may struggle with regarding a variety of texts - poetry, novels, plays. However long you require for a lesson, I will be more than happy to aid you with, for example, if you have an upcoming test or exam, our lessons could run for 2 hours if needed; typical lessons will be held for an hour and it is up to you and whether you want to continue for another hour if you feel the need to do so :) x
