Who I Am & Why I Teach
I am a teacher because I believe education can change lives. To me, teaching is more than completing a syllabus or preparing students for exams—it is about helping students discover their potential and believe in themselves.
I have always been fascinated by language and the way it allows us to express our thoughts, share our stories, and connect with others. This is what inspired my passion for teaching English.
What I love most about teaching is witnessing growth—the moment a student gains confidence, understands something they once struggled with, or finds the courage to speak up.
I teach because I want my students to know that their voice matters, their ideas have value, and they are capable of more than they think.
My goal is simple: to make learning meaningful, build confidence, and help every student find their voice.

About Me
Hi, I’m Shammah Grace, an educator who believes that learning a language should be meaningful, engaging, and empowering.
With a passion for language and education, I strive to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, developing their ideas, and building confidence in using English. My approach goes beyond simply preparing students for examinations—I want them to understand why they are learning and how they can apply their skills in real-life situations.
I particularly enjoy helping students strengthen their writing, speaking, vocabulary, and critical-thinking skills. I design lessons and learning materials that are relevant to students’ lives while remaining focused on the demands of the SPM curriculum. My goal is to help students move from memorizing answers to developing the confidence and ability to communicate their own ideas effectively.
As an educator, I value patience, consistency, creativity, and continuous growth. Every student learns differently, and I believe good teaching begins with understanding the learner.
