About Sophie
I'm an experienced English Language teacher & published writer. While English is my background, I can also tutor & provide editing and academic support with a wide range of subjects; access courses, criminology, nursing, health & social care, politics, business, social work and much more.
As well as university support, I am an experienced 11+ tutor. My students have received scholarships into City of London, Habs and Merchant Taylor's. I also provide support with verbal reasoning and creative writing.
Finally, as an English graduate, I can provide support with GCSE and A*Level English. All of my students have achieved top grades in their exams. I can tutor all exam boards; Edexcel, AQA, and IGCSE. I have a sharp eye for detail, constructive feedback and as my reviews highlight - am well placed to support both English Language & Literature.
I can provide feedback on essays (in my own time), or online tutorials. If tutorials are requested, one hour is usually sufficient to go through the coursework and provide feedback. My rates are reasonable and therefore, I do not offer discounts. I will decline essay writing requests or last minute panic-messages. Please ensure you contact me before you request a lesson directly as my availability is subject to change, each week.

Perfect! Most amazing and friendly tutor
