Hello! I’m Kristen, a California credentialed teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Teaching, and more than 20 years of experience working with students of all ages. I have taught in traditional classrooms, virtual schools, and one-on-one tutoring settings. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence, overcome academic challenges, and discover that learning can be enjoyable. Welcome! My name is Kristen, and I am a California credentialed teacher with a Master’s degree in Teaching and more than 20 years of experience helping students succeed. I have taught in public schools, virtual classrooms, and one-on-one settings, working with students from elementary through high school.
I specialize in mathematics, biology, general science, reading, writing, study skills, and homework support. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I believe every student can learn when lessons are adapted to their individual needs and learning style.
I break difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps that help students build confidence as well as academic skills. Whether your goal is improving grades, preparing for exams, completing homework, or mastering a challenging subject, I will create personalized lessons designed to help you succeed.
