About Tessa
Chemistry teaching is part of a sixteen-year career during which I have guided 860 students, from young beginners to advanced students preparing for formal examinations and coursework. My own training spans both classical academic study and years of applied technical experience, giving me a strong practical grounding beyond purely formal study alone. I am a demanding but deeply invested tutor, believing genuine mastery requires patient, deliberate practice rather than rushed repetition squeezed in before a deadline. For exam preparation I schedule frequent mock assessments under realistic conditions, since strong technique alone does not guarantee a confident result under genuine formal evaluation. Detailed long term progress records track subtle technical improvements for every student across many months of consistent lessons.
