About Omar
I am a Engineering Graduate with a year experience in Qatar's 'Oil & Gas' industry, Currently completing my MSc at Queen Mary University London in "International Public Policy", hybridizing my technical intuition with the policy and managerial aspects, ambitious towards a leading future in sustainability management.
Throughout my education I always enjoyed tutoring people on science problems( Physics and Chemistry), these subjects just naturally fit with me. My father being a chemistry professor, I believe had a lot to do with my ease of understanding chemistry and my ability to deliver knowledge and help others understand. With physics, it stemmed more from my passion for motorsports, which gave me the ability to develop an intuitive foundation for understanding the physical laws of life, which is crucial in solving physics problems.
The difference between tutoring and teaching is the nature of communication. In a class full of students, the focus gravitates towards the teacher, however in tutoring, it gravitates towards the client. Unlike, teaching, there isn't a standardized method the student must follow. Each individual client corresponds to a unique tailor made learning strategy, identified in accordance with their corresponding needs and challenges.

- The key to solving complex science problems, regardless to what degree, starts with the ability to visualize the problem scenario. I start by understanding my client's approach and perception of the problem, to then to fill out any discrepancies, the client may have on understanding the problem, subject or concept. Consequently, according to my assessment, each client will have a tailored learning strategy.
- The typical length of a session amounts to an hour.
- I am currently an active private tutor, and my experience revolves on tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in Physics and Chemistry.
- I am now expanding my target audience to both primary and secondary level students - Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.
