About George
I am a professional tutor with over 25 years' experience teaching Literacy and Numeracy to young and old adults seeking to improve their job prospects and quality of life.
Over the course of the pandemic I have focused on helping children and young adults to successfully catch up on lost time and help them regain mainstream school curricula.
I am very passionate in my delivery and always put the student's wellbeing first.

I specialise in delivering lessons either on a face to face basis or online. I can do home visits and lessons lasts anything between one and three hours, as required.
My methods comprise initial assessment and diagnostic assessment in order to establish areas of strength and areas which require improvement.
My lessons cover a wide range of ages, from 11 to 60. I teach children and adults ranging from GCSE provision to Functional Skills Literacy and Numeracy for adults at Entry Levels and Levels 1 & 2. I also provide English tuition for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL).
I have over 25 years' experience of teaching my qualifications include Certificate of Education PCE (Post Compulsory Education) a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English Literacy.
