About Michele
I am an experienced English teacher with over 30 years of working with young people across a wide range of abilities and learning needs. I have always been passionate about helping students understand English in a clear, supportive way and about building confidence alongside skills.
I particularly enjoy working with students who feel anxious, overwhelmed or unsure of their abilities. I am patient, encouraging and calm in my approach, and I believe learning works best when students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. My aim is always to help students feel more confident, capable and independent in their learning.

My lessons are calm, structured and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence first, then developing clear strategies for reading, writing, comprehension and exam technique. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and include explanation, guided practice and clear next steps.
I support GCSE and A-Level English students, including those who feel anxious, overwhelmed or need SEN-aware approaches. With over 30 years’ teaching experience, I adapt pace and methods to help students understand, engage and make steady progress.
