About Ellen
Hi there! I'm Ellen, a 24-year-old Creative Writing graduate interested in all things English related, as well as the outdoors, arts and music. I had a tutor to help me through my last year of secondary school after my spinal operation, so I know how important and valuable tutoring can be. I would like to be that person for you! I aim to encourage you with positivity and helpful guidance/techniques that will help you thrive. Everyone's unique so I think it's important to build a solid relationship where we both feel comfortable to talk about what you might be struggling with. Teaching tailored to the individual's own needs/requirements. Initial video call to discuss topics, needs and to also meet one another. My qualifications: English Literature A-Level, Creative Writing degree. Experience: I have experience working with younger kids, however I have no prior tutoring experience. I mentored an older individual during the first year of University through essay-writing. Lessons for ages through to A-Level. Typical length of a lesson: 1-2 hours
