About Brianna
I have an background in English education as well as experience tutoring in-person and online. I have worked in sessions that were one-on-one as well as group sessions geared towards improving my students' communication skills both in their writing and speaking . I have been involved in teaching since I was twelve as I began my training of becoming a dance teacher. From there, I knew I loved teaching and decided to pursue an educational career in college. I prefer tutoring as it is important to me to be able to reach my students and cater to their specific needs in a way of learning that works for them.

My lesson plans are constructed to meet the needs of all types of learners - as every student does not learn the same. We will typically begin with a starting activity relevant to the lesson before going over specific questions or needs from the student. I do like to make my lessons more collaborative, so the student feels as if he/she is part of the learning (and not just being lectured). The lessons will be interactive, and will always end with an activity that will show the skill learned that day. I am prepared to teach any student requiring help in written and oral communication skills no matter the age.
