About Brooklyn
I am a uOttawa alumni with a BSc. in Mathematics and Computer Science. I have been tutoring University and College students for 1 year.
I am not a stranger to struggling with math classes, whether that is due to limited time, a bad professor, or difficult content. I promise I can relate!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and experimenting with cooking and sewing!

I approach lessons by first understanding what my students are struggling with. Once we figure out where you are struggling, I will re-introduce the topic in an easier-to-understand way, followed by going through curated practice problems together until you have a solid understanding.
I am able to to be able to pick up on what is confusing in a lesson and shifting my focus to whatever is most important.
I have always had a natural gift for teaching those around me, even when I was in high school! I would love to teach university, college, and high school students to help you excel.

I was struggling with grasping and understanding the abstract concepts in Linear Algebra. Brooklyn was great at helping me understand these topics by slowly going through the topics and explaining them in a way easy to understand. Once these topics were understood, we would work together on solving problems related to these newly understood topics. Overall highly recommend her in any math sphere!!!
