About Irfana
I’m Irfana, an experienced tutor and developer with an MS in Computer Science and a strong background in programming, statistics, data science, research, and analytical problem solving.
I have several years of tutoring experience and have worked with students from different backgrounds and skill levels. My teaching style is patient, practical, and step-by-step. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind a problem rather than simply memorizing formulas.
I teach Mathematics and Statistics, including algebra, arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, logic, functions, graphs, problem solving, homework, and exam preparation.
My Computer Science and research background also allows me to connect mathematical and statistical concepts with real-world examples and data when useful.

My lessons are personalized according to your current level, goals, and learning difficulties.
We typically work through a simple process:
1. Understand your goal
We identify whether you need help with homework, exam preparation, a specific topic, or overall improvement.
2. Identify the problem
I find the concepts or problem-solving steps that are causing difficulty.
3. Learn step by step
I explain the concept using simple language, examples, diagrams, and worked problems.
4. Practice together
We solve problems together and gradually move from guided practice to independent problem solving.
5. Build confidence
You practice similar questions so that you can solve them yourself rather than depending on memorized solutions.
Lessons can cover Mathematics, Algebra, Statistics, Probability, Logic, Arithmetic, Geometry, Trigonometry, and mathematical problem solving.
