About Constance
I am currently completing a double degree at the University of Technology Sydney, studying a Bachelor of Business with a major in Finance alongside a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation.
My studies have developed strong skills in critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and presenting ideas clearly, all of which I bring into my tutoring. I understand that students learn differently, so I focus on explaining concepts in a way that is structured, practical and easy to understand.
I graduated from St Vincent’s College Potts Point and achieved a mark of 96 in the HSC. Since then, I have gained several years of tutoring experience across a range of year levels and abilities.
Next year, I will be commencing a graduate role in banking, which reflects my strong academic background, professionalism and ability to communicate effectively in demanding environments.
As a tutor, I am organized, reliable and approachable. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing the confidence to improve independently.

My approach to Math tutoring is structured, patient and focused on helping students genuinely understand how to solve problems rather than simply memorizing formulas or steps.
I begin by identifying the areas a student is struggling with, then break each concept down into clear and manageable steps. I use worked examples, guided practice and targeted questions to build confidence before gradually increasing the difficulty.
I also teach students how to recognize common question types, show their working clearly and choose the correct method under exam conditions.
For younger students, I focus on developing strong foundations in number skills, fractions, decimals, percentages, multiplication, division, measurement and problem-solving.
For high school students, I tutor Years 7–10 Math, including 5.1 and 5.2 Mathematics, as well as HSC Mathematics Standard. Lessons can cover algebra, equations, financial math, statistics, probability, measurement, and exam preparation. I also help students improve their calculator skills, time management and confidence when approaching unfamiliar questions.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s age, goals and workload.
I achieved a 91 mark in HSC Mathematics and have several years of tutoring experience working with students across a range of ages and abilities.
