About Sarah
As a Mathematics Professor at Alfred State College for over 17 years, I have delivered high-quality instruction and curriculum development in various areas of mathematics and statistics. I have taught college-level courses that cover mathematical concepts, techniques, and applications, and engaged students in interactive and stimulating classroom discussions. I have also developed lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments that align with the learning objectives and standards of the instructional program.
In addition to teaching, I have worked as a student success advisor, helping students develop and achieve their educational goals, and providing them with academic support and guidance. I have also served as the Director of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), where I led and managed the program that provides access and assistance to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. I am passionate about mathematics and education, and I strive to inspire and empower my students to pursue their interests and careers in these fields.
