About Amy
Teaching mathematics has been my childhood dream, and I bring that lifelong passion to every online lesson. I am a patient and gentle teacher who believes in a highly organised and structured approach to learning. By breaking down complex topics into clear, logical steps, I help primary students build the confidence they need to truly enjoy maths.
I specialise in Primary School Mathematics, typically offering 60-minute sessions that are both engaging and productive. My effectiveness is proven by my own child, Amy, whom I personally tutored; she is now excelling in her school's Year 9 top set. I am dedicated to providing that same high level of professional, structured support to help your child reach their full potential.

As an experienced private tutor specialising in Primary Mathematics, I use a student-centred methodology that prioritises conceptual understanding over rote learning. My lessons are highly interactive, utilising digital tools to simplify complex problems into manageable steps. This approach builds the confidence necessary for young learners to tackle challenging topics with ease.
My typical lessons last 60 minutes, providing a perfect balance of focused instruction and guided practice. With years of experience as a tutor, my most proud achievement is personally mentoring my child, who—thanks to our sessions—is now excelling in the Year 9 top set for maths.
These online lessons are specifically designed for primary-aged students (Key Stage 1 and 2), whether they are building foundational skills or aiming for advanced academic placements. My goal is to provide the same high-level support that helped my child succeed to every student I teach.
