About Charlotte
Sitting with an adult learner who is tackling coordinate geometry for the first time reminds me why I enjoy this work. I have taught 146 students ranging from absolute beginners to those prepping for high-level competitions. My 13 years in fintech and quant work mean that algebra and trigonometry are second nature to me. Having earned my degree at the University of Melbourne, I understand the high standards required for advanced learners.
I see math as a language rather than a set of rules to be memorized. My 4 years of tutoring allow me to translate these concepts for anyone aiming to improve their SAT or ACT performance.

Achieving fluency in word problems and mental math is often about finding the right entry point. To be perfectly honest, most students fail because they try to solve problems without a strategy first. My approach focuses on teaching you how to deconstruct equations before you pick up a pencil.
I pull from my 13 years of quant work to explain vedic math techniques and complex problem solving. We spend time ensuring that your grasp of algebra and geometry is rock solid before moving to competition-level material. You will move past simple calculation and start thinking like a mathematician.
