About Naomi
I am a dedicated Teacher’s Assistant and Substitute Teacher in New York with experience supporting students ages 5–21 in K–12 classrooms. I work with students with disabilities and at-risk youth, providing both academic and emotional support to help them succeed. I am passionate about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, supported, and capable of reaching their goals. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and adaptable, allowing me to meet each student’s individual learning needs while helping them build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s unique learning style, academic needs, and personal goals. Using a multi-sensory approach and evidence-based teaching strategies, I help students strengthen their reading, phonics, writing, English Language Arts, comprehension, vocabulary, and study skills. I have experience working with students with disabilities and at-risk youth from ages 5 to 21, and I am committed to helping every student make meaningful progress, develop independence, and reach their full academic potential through personalized instruction.
