Hi, everyone!! I am a qualified math tutor looking for some remote (or northern Arkansas) tutoring work for the summer. I just graduated with my Masters of Education degree (with a math concentration) and have tutored math in person and online for over 6 years, in anything from basic 2nd grade math up to advanced college courses like Number Theory & Abstract Algebra.
I excel at breaking down complex concepts into simple ideas and I have such a passion for seeing that lightbulb moment for students at any age and in any subject. I like to teach for a deep understanding of math concepts and present topics in a unique way, developing a broader view of math as a tool--as well as show the relevancy of the topic to the student's life and interests. More importantly, I am super patient and ALWAYS encouraging.
