About Ashley
28 years of teaching. I have worked across a wide medium of arenas from security to journalism and sports coaching. Northern Irish and well-travelled. Conversational and interested in the world around us. I am interested in preparing and nurturing students for access to the wider world. To develop a sense of enquiry in anyone, a hunger for knowledge and understanding. My goal is as much to create the questions as opposed to the potential answers.

My method is simple: Find your objective then work a plan towards achieving said targets within the time remit. When we know the target, we can find a baseline and from there work to achieve. With specific needs, e.g. difficulty in fractions, we start at the beginning and build accumulative knowledge and skills to where you should be by the age and level you are working at. My approach is interactive. You talk, I respond.
