About Isabella
Hi there! My name is Isabella, and I’m a student at Texas State University majoring in Education. I’ve always been passionate about working with children and helping them discover their strengths both in and out of the classroom. With hands-on experience in local schools and a strong foundation in teaching strategies, I bring patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of how kids learn best. I specialize in working with elementary and middle school students (grades K–8), offering support in reading, writing, math, study skills, and homework help. My tutoring sessions are student-centered, encouraging, and adapted to meet each learner’s unique needs. I strive to build confidence and make learning feel positive and achievable. Whether your child is catching up, preparing for the new school year, or simply needs a supportive boost, I’m here to help them succeed—and feel proud of their progress every step of the way. Let’s work together to make learning enjoyable and empowering!

As an Education major at Texas State University, my tutoring approach is grounded in patience, encouragement, and personalized learning. I understand that every student learns differently, and I take the time to get to know how each learner thinks so I can adjust my teaching to fit their needs.
Hands-On Learning: I use visuals, manipulatives, and real-life examples to make abstract ideas more concrete—especially in math and reading.
Scaffolded Support: I guide students step-by-step through concepts, gradually releasing responsibility as their confidence grows.
Growth Mindset Language: I praise effort and progress to help students feel capable and motivated, not just correct.
Active Engagement: Lessons are interactive—no boring lectures. I ask questions, encourage students to explain their thinking, and make learning feel like a conversation.
Flexible Pacing: If a student needs more time, I slow down. If they’re ready to move ahead, I challenge them.
