I have 7 years of classroom teaching experience and over 9 years one-to-one tutoring experience with students aged 8-17. I have supported learners with a range of needs:
- Grade 9 challenge for the most able (including A-level content).
- 11+ entrance exam practice
- SATS practice
- Dyslexia support
- ASD support
- EAL learners
- Post 16 exam retake
My teaching philosophy is centred around building learner confidence, desirable difficulty, and making learning accessible and enjoyable for all students. My teaching methodology is highly bespoke to the individual needs of each learner and aims to stretch all pupils.
A typical lesson lasts 1 hour and is aimed at learners aged 11-16, welcoming all levels of need.
