About Jayson
Hello! I am passionate about teaching English to others because I have seen firsthand how much of an effect it can have in people's lives. I was lucky enough to get my first opportunity to teach English at only 18 years old, in a school located in Thailand. While there I got to interact and work with students of all ages and developed sincere relationships. I had never received such honest gratitude for my work as students expressed the literal life-changing opportunities that were opened up for them by learning my native language. I realized how lucky I was to have been born a native English speaker, and I still find much joy in being able to work with interested learners and truly help them in a way that makes a lasting impact on their lives. Teaching English is now my career, and I have recently acquired my 150-hour TESOL certificate through Arizona State University to thoroughly learn about the many learning approaches and techniques that would help me bring out the fullest potential in my students. Teaching online provides an amazing and unique opportunity to connect with people all over the world and nothing really excites me more!
