About Tara
I'm 28 years old and I was born and raised in the beautiful land of New Zealand. For the time being I now reside in Croatia, where I've decided to connect with my heritage.
Math has always been my true calling, and teaching it is my absolute passion. There's nothing quite like the thrill of seeing students conquer challenging mathematical concepts and embrace the subject with enthusiasm.
I'm here to help guide and inspire you on your mathematical journey, and make math an exciting and rewarding experience!

My tutoring lessons are designed for students aged 8 years and older, who are working at level 2A or higher.
I focus on creating a positive and supportive learning environment by establishing a strong relationship with my students. Building trust and rapport encourages open communication, making it easier for students to ask questions and seek help with no hesitation.
I reinforce learning through meaningful repetition, where we revisit key concepts through different examples. This approach ensures a deeper understanding of the material.
My lessons are tailored to suit each student's individual learning style, strengths, and weaknesses. Being flexible allows me to address specific challenges and cater to different paces of learning.
Lesson Length:
My tutoring sessions last around 45 minutes. This allows mee to cover sufficient material while avoiding mental fatigue and information overload. This enables students to stay focused and engaged throughout the lesson.
Qualifications/Experience:
I hold a Bachelor of Teaching from Waikato University and have five years of teaching experience. My formal education and years of practical experience have given me effective pedagogical strategies and student management skills.
