About Jordan
I am an incredibily passionate teacher, with a mission to see all of my students learn, grow, and achieve their goals. I believe that every person, young and old, deserves to expose themselves to the arts, and that with hard work, every person has the ability to succeed.
I am currently studying music education and theatre at Seton Hall University. I have also been teaching for several years. My teaching experience includes many years of experience teaching private lessons on several instruments (piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, violin, bass) to all ages. I have also worked for several years as a songwriting instructor, as well as an acting teacher. Other related experience is that I have student taught in several school districts including Newark, Linden and Orange, and I am currently the music director of two groups at Seton Hall University, including the male acapella group, and the student run string ensemble.
I have always had a love for teaching. My mom is a voice teacher.
I am in my third year of obtaining my NJ teaching certification, currently at Seton Hall University.

I always take time to learn things about the student, including what knowledge they are coming in with and how I can best help them learn. I always do my best to form a connection with my students so that they feel as though their lessons are a safe, comfortable environment where they can make mistakes.
All Ages, from 5 years old to adults. Everyone is capable and deserving of learning. I do however lack a lot of experience working with students with disabilities.
Make sure your teacher cares about their students. If they don't take time to plan their lessons out, you might as well be teaching yourself out of a book.

Set goals. What do I want to do? When do I want to do it by? Why do I want to do it? How will I achieve it?
