About Andrew
I am a freshman Mechanical Engineering major at Caltech. I have been tutoring math, science, and SAT prep since my freshman year of high school and I love helping students improve their understanding of these topics!
Resume/CV available on request.
I started teaching my freshman year of high school because my older sister's friends needed math and SAT help. I was on an accelerated math track and had taken the SAT three times by my sophomore year, so I had seen my fair share of practice and real problems and had developed methods I could share with them. Through high school, I mostly tutored in these topics through personal connections.
Beyond my past tutoring experience, I have worked both as a counselor for a summer art camp and as a lifeguard at a neighborhood pool. Both jobs prepared me for communicating with students and kids of all ages, and I have applied those skills in past tutoring jobs.

I first communicate with the student about their learning goals. Depending on the results of this step, I may start with a diagnostic test or jump right into material. Each session will be interactive and conversational as we work through new topics and practice problems.

Perfect! Andrew was thorough and helped me to have a better understanding of the material. He was very prepared and had answers to all of my questions. He was able to break down complicated ideas into simple terms. I highly reccomend Pasco’s Tutoring services.

Working with Andrew was a fantastic experience for my son and our family. Andrew was always timely, highly engaging and a super communicator. This made working with him easy and efficient not to mention my son excelled in Math because of this structure. I really can’t say enough about our time with Andrew and to also note that we did all of this before the COVID era. I am more then positive that his preparation has grown with the times. Best wishes as I am certain that your experience will be very similar to ours.
I have hired many tutors for my daughter. Andrew was the best! He was able to identify my daughter’s weaknesses and give her the tools she needed to be successful! He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and my daughter was able to excel in her courses!
