About Rocky

Basketball skills and development training by former college and professional players.

We enjoy seeing a player come in to us for training with "raw" talent and eventually blossom into an all around athlete due to proper basketball skills instructions and accurate "Next Level" information from our trained staff.

I personally began due to watching players with bad habits...being coached by "bad" coaches.  There is absolutely no way to achieve the real "Next Level" of your game unless you are being instructed by a person who has played at the next level of the sport.

I currently work for Major League Baseball Youth Academy in California. Where we train players who are thinking about getting to the professional levels someday.

Our goal is to one day have an NBA Youth Academy which focuses on the same mission:

- basketball skills and development training.

- educational support opportunities

- vocational training opportunities

Basketball Quest has been focused on individual and small group training for boys and girls 6 to 17 years old for over 25 years.

We prefer to work one on one with players to help them get to the next level. We also work with players in small group settings. This is not a team or competitive playing environment. We emphasize individual skill improvement and getting better so you can go and play on the team of your choice, while becoming the best player you can possibly be mentally and physically.

We will work with any child 6 to 17 years old who has a "passion" for the game of basketball, and the desire and dreams to improve and ultimately play at their "Next Level" of the sport.

: Junior High Basketball

: AAU Basketball

: High School Basketball

: College Basketball

: Professional Basketball

I would recommend choosing an instructor who has actually played at the next level of the game himself or herself. Experience is the best test of expertise - and you can't teach the game of basketball properly if you've only read books or watched from the sidelines.

Just like any other profession...it requires on the "court" experience to be able to qualify as a real basketball coach or trainer. If you want to play with the "big boys and girls" - you'd better find someone who played with the big boys and girls training YOU!

REMEMBER: PRACTICE DOES NOT MAKE...PERFECT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!

Find the perfect way to do something...and then PRACTICE that! We will teach you how to do it at Basketball Quest Training and Development.

I find the 3 on 3 basketball events especially inviting to scout future talent. Playing 5 on 5 full court is different than 3 on 3. The player must have individual skills or it is impossible to win.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Are you serious about taking your game to the next level?

Do you want to get a scholarship someday?

Are you committed to working hard?

Do you believe in yourself?

Are you willing to listen and take directions?

Will you be ready to make the adjustment needed to get better and better?

Can you afford to invest in your future to be trained?
