About Demetrius
With a background rooted in a pursuit of basketball excellence, I relocated to Florida at the age of 13 to realize my aspirations in the sport. This journey culminated in a Division 1 collegiate career, playing for esteemed institutions such as the University of South Carolina and La Salle University. Subsequently, I ventured into the professional realm, competing in countries like Ecuador and Mexico until my retirement in 2018.
Post-retirement, I seamlessly transitioned into coaching and training, leveraging my 24 years of extensive basketball experience at the highest levels. At the helm of Nomadic Hoops, I have honed my ability to impart profound insights and skills to a diverse clientele ranging from age 5 to 34. My coaching repertoire extends from nurturing beginners to refining the techniques of professionals, including both seasoned players and elite high school prospects.
Nomadic Hoops stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to basketball excellence. Through meticulous training methodologies, I aspire to guide individuals towards surpassing their goals on the court. The comprehensive approach employed at Nomadic Hoops is tailored to instill a sense of greatness in our athletes, be they seasoned professionals or aspiring novices.
I remain dedicated to the elevation of basketball proficiency, and it is my fervent goal to contribute meaningfully to the success of those under my tutelage. If there are specific aspects you wish to delve into or discuss further, please feel free to communicate your preferences.

The biggest thing I learned about Coach Henry is his ability to be really detailed in his skill training.
Coach Demetrius did an excellent job of breaking the game down to my kid and improved their skills. His patience and knowledge for the game has taken my kid a long way on and off the court.
