I love coaching youth basketball. I got the coaching bug about seven years ago when I started coaching my son's third grade CYO team at St. Perpetua. From there, I took my passion and exclerated it into high school coaching. 





3 years of coaching high school at top 20 program in California - De La Salle High School

Part of the California state championship coaching staff where we faced Chino Hills and Lonzo Ball (NBA player for the Lakers)

4 years of operations experience for CYO youth basketball program

USA Basketball youth program coach during 2016 Summer Olympics

Learned from and coached with legendary high school coach Frank Allocco Sr - the winningest high school coach in the State of California.

About the lesson

The initial session consists of an assessment of the player's ability. We discuss goals and build from the core of what the athlete excels at. Parents and kids love my enthusiasm and encouragement. Each session is timed and fast paced. I always explain the 'why' behind each drill and ask the athlete questions to make sure they are absorbing the lesson. Each session is unique to the athlete and built around what he/she needs to level up.

I put together a basketball camp for kids in need open to 4th through 7th grade boys. The camp was instructed by current and former Bay Area high school coaches.

The camp was more than just about basketball. The supporting organizations invited kids who have displayed leadership characteristics, determination, integrity and compassion in their approach to the world. Basketball athleticism played only a small part in the selection.

The kids got hands-on training from an experienced coaching staff. The kid to coach ratio was 4:1 making the individual attention for each kid a priority.
